  • Carol Brown Dances have been awarded a £24,500 Grants for the Arts Arts Council England Award for the making and presentation of SeaUnSea in 2006-07
  • Carol Brown’s essay, ‘The Aesthetics of Smash and Grab’ has been published in Liz Aggiss and Billy Cowie’s (eds), Anarchic Dance. London:  Routledge, 2006, pp.5-14.

  • Emilyn Claid’s new book, Yes? No! Maybe…Seductive Ambiguity in Dance (London: Routledge, 2006) includes discussion of Carol Brown Dances works, Ocean Skin (1998) and Spawn (2003)

  • Carol Brown and Mette Ramsgard’s collaborations feature in Lucy Bullivant’s Responsive Environments London: Victoria and Albert Museum: 2006.
