Choreographic History

Maybe

A duet for Leon Baugh and Vicki Manderson with original music by Russell Scoones. "Maybe: a duet for a man and a woman swallowed by space starts with a repeated loop, a man talking about getting away, escaping gravity. The duet itself is relaxed and exact, moving from slow, focused stretches to tiny tick-tock movements." (Zoe Anderson, 'Anyone for Leaping and Laughing, The Independent, 20.01.04, p. 56).

"A functional vocabulary of tense lines is magnified by a dialogue with the surrounding spacel" (Judith Mackrell, The Guardian 17.1.04, p.20).
