PAH is a new work by Carol Brown in collaboration with composer Gillian Whitehead, visual artist Star Gossage, photographer Solomon Mortimer and eight performers. In this ambulatory event ghosts emerge to dance in the present.

Carol Brown Dances was founded by composer Russell Scoones and choreographer Carol Brown during a residency at the Place Theatre London. Since 1999 the company has created work for theatres, art galleries, live art spaces, outdoor sites and interactive environments evolving a distinct approach to performance that unfurls through sustained collaborations with dancers and other artists,

Choreography that attends to movement at the intersections between bodies, places, histories and technologies.

Experimenting with dance through collaborating and questioning.

Releasing energies and probing embodied memories towards a relational choreography.

In Film Series #1 two women are making a film with a sense-machine. Splicing between scenes they render images for a future-past. Fragments of lost film intervene and they are forced to replay that which has been abandoned with their new devices. This new work, a collaboraiton with Margie Medlin and Anne Niemetz will have its first presentation as part of TEMPO 2014 Q Theatre, Auckland in October.
